Volunteer Role Description
Role Title: Singing Club Community Volunteer
**Organisation:** Think Cre8tive Group CIC
**Project:** Singing Club
**Location:** Local venues
**Type:** Voluntary (with travel and refreshments reimbursed)
**Time Commitment:** 2–3 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks
Purpose of the Role
To help create a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment during weekly Sing It Out! choir sessions. Volunteers will assist with set-up, participant support, and contribute to a joyful, inclusive singing experience for older adults and community members.
Key Responsibilities
– Welcome and sign in participants on arrival
– Help set up the space (chairs, refreshments, materials)
– Offer support to older adults, especially those with mobility or memory challenges
– Join in singing and encourage participation (musical experience not required)
– Assist with tidying up after sessions
– Report any concerns to the session leader or project coordinator
